The Society issues the Transactions as an occasional publication, containing longer articles on the natural history of Cumbria. Thirteen volumes have been published to date and a list of the contents of volumes 1-12 is below. The latest volume was published on 7 March 2018 and is currently available.
Most of the other volumes are out of print, although printed copies of a few issues are still available by contacting us, including the most recent, Cumbrian Wildlife in the 20th Century for a very reasonable £5+P&P.
The Society also provides the scanned PDFs of all the CNHS Transactions below to aid further research into Lakeland Wildlife. These are all searchable PDFs – use CTRL-F or shift-CTRL-F (full search) or the search facility in the Edit menu of Adobe Reader to do so. File sizes range from 4MB to 11MB.
